The Core Participants include the members of the Steering Committee along with others that were appointed externally as representatives of Partner Societies and Participating Groups. The primary responsibility of the Core Participants is to serve as a conduit between the community and the RCN and to provide expertise on collections related issues in their field. They will also help set priorities of the RCN, elect new members of the Steering Committee, and approve new members of the Core Participants. Some Core Participants will be asked to participate in the RCN workshops. At the end of each year additional Core Participants will be chosen from open nominations. If you’re interested in joining, or wish to nominate someone else, please watch CollectionsWeb for details.
